Hello, hello great to have you here. This is a high vibe, good vibe episode where I’m going to guide you through how to use your voice to raise your vibe – literally. This is all about how to use your vocal vibrations to improve your mood, create better connection and magnetise the things you want in your life.

Yep, your vocal vibrations can help you become a vibrational match for your desires. This is what we’ll go through in Manifest with your Voice – which is happening on Tuesday Jan 10th – the replay if available if you can’t make it live, although live on the call we’ll do the voice active activations, I’ll give you time to create your sound board and of course you can ask questions on the live call.

2023 if just beginning – and if you’re feeling stuck and unable to manifest the life you desire – it’s time to tap into the power of your voice. The words you use and the way you speak can attract abundance into your life.

I’ve used this technique to call in my relationship, business revenue, collaborations, properties.

And I’ll be showing you step by step in Manifest with your Voice – it’s only $22 US dollars, it’s happening on Tuesday, so jump into the link and register.

A big part of it is creating the vocal vibration that’s a match for what you want – and how you wanna feel.

I’m sure you’ve heard of the law of attraction, have you heard of the law of RESONANCE?

The law of resonance states that when two objects vibrate at the same frequency, they will naturally tend to amplify each other’s vibrations.

And your voice is a mega resonator! So get it vibrating at the same frequency as the good shit you want to bring it.

How does it work? A bit of anatomy lesson here.

So you breathe in first to fuel up, then the outgoing breath moves from the lungs up the windpipe and moves through your vocal cords – that pair of thin muscles in the larynx – your voice box. Those vocal cords are close together so when the air moves through it vibrates. And if you put your hand on your throat and say ah, you’ll feel those vibrations. This vibration sets up other vibrations in the resonators of our body – the vibrations amplify.

Now we have FIVE main resonators and the way we use them affects the quality of voice we produce. I think of resonators like caves, they’re spaces in the body where the vibrations play.

You can experiment with me now. Let’s start with the hollows of the cheeks and head. Sending the vibrations up there will give you quite a high-pitched sound and you don’t want to live there in your speaking. Listen to episode 138 – how to sound like you where I talk about how many factors have pushed voices to this area, like it’s about to pop out the top of your head. SO a nice place to visit, not to live.

So the next resonator is our nasal cavity, and if we send all the vibrations there, it’s very nasal, not that pleasant.

We have the back of the throat, and that’s a heavy, false sound.

There’s the mouth and if we only use this resonator our sound is quite weak and thin.

My favourite resonator is down near the heart the walls of the chest, and when you put your hand on your heart and humm or speak it’s so nice to feel those vibrations on the palm of your hand.

So you want to be using all your resonators, especially dropping into your body, and feeling those vibrations near your heart.

If you are more connected with the depth of your voice, the volume of vibrations the more you feel it throughout your body and the more you can control where those vibrations go – as I just demonstrated – the more you do this, the better connection you’ll have with your audience. When you speak from your soul, the audience listens with their soul.

And we all have different shaped bodies and grew up in different environments with different levels of voice training so our voices are each different. Just know they are fluid, your voice changes over time, and if you want to create more depth in your voice and explore the true range of it, that is something I can absolutely help you with.

Going back to the law of resonance – amplifying others’ vibrations.

This is also known as the Chameleon Effect.

Like when you spend time overseas and come home with a bit of an accent, or your tendency to pick up words and phrases from your friends or family. Yeh, we do it.

The Chameleon Effect is embedded in the brain – we unintentionally copy people’s voices – their speech patterns, inflections and pace - and we do it to bond and feel safe, to fit in. [i]

The scary thing is, the Chameleon Effect can take effect almost straight away. So, every time you speak your voice is literally setting the tone of your community, the tone of your life.

So you want to be so careful with the words you use and the way they resonate through your body.

That’s why it’s so important to be expressive with your mantras. I am powerful, I am motivated. My god. You might as well be saying I am giving up. So put expression into your mantras.

You might be like, Sal sometimes I just feel like shit, I want to vent, I want to complain.

And you can understand that using negative words and a lacklustre voice can impact those around you.

Now, here’s the kicker – our voice doesn’t just impact others, it scientifically impacts ourselves.

A University study out of Sweden found emotions don’t just affect our voices – our voices affect our emotions.

The researcher said ‘in a sense we listen to our own voice to find out how we feel.

So that means a great hack to raise your vibes if you’re feeling flat is so speak in a joyful, excited, expressive way – that will feed back and change your emotional state.

I do this thing where if I desperately feel the need to complain or vent I do it in a really excited voice.

I’m like oh my god I just got the most annoying email, I feel like such an idiot and I am so hangry.

More ideal is to have positive language and strong heart-centred vibrations calling in what you want. And this is what we’ll go through in Manifest with Your Voice. Honestly releasing your voice is like turning on the tap to abundance.

There are so many parts to this topic and I might do a separate episode for example to explain the science behind OM-ing which you might be familiar with through yoga, there is also different sounds to help clear each individual chakra. This stuff is so soul nourishing, and what we go into in Speak from Your Soul which is starting in Feb.

The key takeaways from today – how to use your voice to raise your vibe.

Number one – discover your resonators, know where they are and how to send the sound there.

Number two – the way you speak affects people around you. So speak from the heart, speak with kindness, speak with joy.

And number three – the way you speak affects your OWN vibe, so if you want to raise your vibe speak with excitement and joy.

From next week That Voice Podcast will be back to Monday releases and I have some great guests lined up for you. I wanted to release this a couple of days early so you have plenty of time to register for Manifest with your Voice on Jan 10th – if you enjoyed this episode you will get so much out of the workshop, link is in the shownotes and I’ll see  you there.

Bye.
