Hey, hey, welcome back to That Voice Podcast. I'm Sally Prosser, and for Episode 160, I'm sharing a quick technique to speak with conviction. Now this episode is straight out of my Fear to Fierce program. It's one of 16 videos you get which guide you through practical exercises and strategies like the one you're about to hear, which will help you with both your inner voice confidence and your physical voice. And these are the exercises and strategies I use pretty much everyday to feel confident in myself, rewire the beliefs that aren't helping me, release emotions through my voice and get clear on what my next move is. So by the end of Fear to Fierce, which you can easily complete in less than a day, the videos are all under five minutes. You'll be clear on your purpose. You'll discover what stories have been holding you back. You'll redefine your relationship with fear, and you'll hear the power in your voice. Imagine hitting record on your phone or picking up a microphone or having that conversation with your partner or family member and feeling rock solid in who you are and the voice you have.
Fear to Fierce is normally $333. If you head to the show notes of this episode, you'll find a link to get it for just $99. This means it is less than $9 per exercise. And some of these exercises, like the Letter to Fear, graduates have said that that alone has changed their life and given them a breakthrough worth more than other courses. They've spent hundreds of dollars on other exercises like what do we have? The Fierce Raw, and signature moves and the Ring of Power. All those become part of your new normal, new habits to put into your everyday. Imagine having the tools to change your mood and the resources to get what you want. I love this quote by Tony Robbins. He says, 'It's not the lack of resources, it's your lack of resourcefulness that stops you.'
It's not the lack of resources, it's your lack of resourcefulness that stops you. And this is why I'm always investing in myself so much so I can understand more about the resources in me. A lot of Fear to Fierce includes tools I've learned from my incredible mentors, and they help me so much that I really wanted to pay them forward to you. So head to the link in the show notes. That's the only link where you can get the $99 offer. It's an absolute no-brainer. So what you're about to hear is one of my original strategies to help you sound convincing and have influence when you speak. The exercise is called Finish Strong. The vocal technique I'm sharing is called the Target Technique, and it stops us going up at the end of every phrase, and having our voice and our credibility flowed up into the ether when we are wanting to be heard, enjoy.
Welcome back. It's not just what you say, how you deliver your words plays a big role in speaking with confidence, competence, and all-around fierceness. Finishing your sentences strong is an easy way to command attention and create charismatic presence when you speak. A common trap is the slide up in pitch at the end of a phrase. This rising inflection can make complete statements sound like questions you want validated, but rather than thoughts you want to share. So to avoid this slide up, you want to imagine you're hitting the last word like a target. Practice the technique on the following phrases. I'll demonstrate both so you can hear the difference. So with the first one, Hi, I'm Sally. It's so great to be here tonight! Instead, we want, Hi, I'm Sally. It's so great to be here tonight. Next one. It's been awesome. Thanks so much for having me. We want, it's been awesome. Thanks so much for having me. And you'll notice there I emphasize the have in having because that's the last stressed syllable of the line, not the me. The next one, I'm letting go of fears and stepping into fierce. That doesn't sound very convincing. If we hit it like a target, we get, I'm letting go of fears and stepping into fierce. You can also practice this technique on the Speak Your Truth sentences from the last exercise. Alright, get those vocal chords warmed up. I will see and hear you in the next video.
So that was just one teeny tiny part of Fear to Fierce. Remember, if you click the link in the show notes, it's less than half-price for you as a listener of That Voice Podcast. Thank you so much for your support. Have a great, beautiful, wonderful, amazing day!
